Refund and Cancellation Policy

Digital products are final sale. Services can be cancelled, and you pay only for work done.

Last updated: 15 September 2026

The short version

  • Digital products: all sales are final. Once payment is made, there are no refunds and no cancellations, except when a download does not work (next point).
  • If a file does not download or is damaged, email us within 7 days of purchase with your order ID and a short screen recording. We send a working file within 2 working days. If we cannot fix it, we refund you in full.
  • If money left your account but the payment failed, your bank or Cashfree sends it back on its own.
  • International payments are processed by PayPal. An approved refund of a PayPal payment goes back to the original PayPal payment.
  • Services: cancel whenever you want. Before work starts, you get everything back. After it starts, you pay only for work done.
  • No fee for cancelling a service.

1. Digital products (downloads)

All sales are final

A downloaded file cannot be given back. So all sales of digital products are final. Once payment is made, we do not give refunds and we do not accept cancellations. The only exception is a download that does not work, described below.

Please read the product page carefully before you pay. It states what the files contain, their format and what you need in order to use them.

If the file does not download or is damaged

Email support@codeupvik.com within 7 days of purchase. Include:

We reply within 2 working days with a working file or a fresh download link. If we cannot give you a working file, we refund the full amount to your original payment method. Refunds reach your account within the timelines of your bank and Cashfree Payments, usually 5 to 7 working days. If you paid with PayPal (international payments), the refund goes back to the original PayPal payment, within PayPal's own timelines.

If the payment failed

Sometimes money is deducted from your account but the payment fails, or the order is not created. In that case your bank or Cashfree Payments reverses the amount automatically, within their own timelines. We do not receive or hold that money. If it has not come back, contact your bank, and write to us with the transaction reference so we can help.

2. Fixed-price services

If you cancel

We do not charge a fee for cancelling. The discovery call is free, so there is nothing to refund for it.

If we cancel

If we stop the work, you get a full refund for every part of it we have not delivered.

If the work is late, faulty or not what was agreed

If we deliver after the date in your quote, or what we deliver is faulty or does not match what the quote described, tell us. We fix it at no charge. If the problem is our fault and we cannot fix it, you get a refund for the affected part of the work. A date that moved because we were waiting on something from you (see section 8 of our Terms and Conditions) does not count as late.

How to ask for a refund or cancel a service

Email discovery@codeupvik.com, or the Grievance Officer listed on our Contact page, with:

What happens next:

  1. We acknowledge your request within 48 hours and give you a ticket number.
  2. We tell you our decision within 5 working days. If we say no, we explain why.
  3. We send an approved refund within 7 working days of approval, back to the way you paid: through Cashfree Payments for payments made through Cashfree, to the original PayPal payment for payments made through PayPal, or by bank transfer for payments you made to us by bank transfer or UPI.
  4. Your bank may take a few more days to show the money in your account.

We refund the full approved amount and do not deduct any payment processing fee from it.

3. Payment disputes

Please write to us first, because it is usually quicker. You can also raise a dispute (a chargeback) with your bank or card issuer.

4. Your legal rights

This policy does not take away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or the rules made under it. If you are not satisfied with our answer, see the complaints section on our Contact page.
